The Senior Interactive Developer will work with a team of designers and will be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure as well as developing new technologies within the Creative group. Types of projects may include: - Innovative learning interactions in HTML5 and Flash - Advanced coding on websites (Front End: JavaScript + CSS; and Back End: PHP + MySQL) - Enhancements to internal collaboration tools - Marketing and training materials for mobile devices - Extending file-sharing systems Responsibilities - Develop online learning content, web applications and components by utilizing advanced skills and experience in web UI and application development, markup languages (HTML, XML, CSS), and client-side (eg JavaScript, ActionScript) programming languages. - Collaborate with designers, developer peers, business analysts, software engineers and software architects to appropriately address application architecture and divisions of responsibility between client-side and Server Side technologies. - Provide and document new and/or creative solutions to technical problems, innovate and document new production methods. - Take ownership of all assigned tasks to meet all project needs, including working with team members to deliver projects on time and on budget. - Provide sound and consistent content preparation and web development for internal and external clients by converting raw course content into static and/or interactive, web-ready content. - Prepare and deploy web content using the most up-to-date best web development practices possible. - Provide excellent customer service (including troubleshooting and technical support) internally and externally to non-technical co-workers and customers. - Act as a primary stakeholder in any phase of the development project.
