This substitute position is only for the Desert Area, which includes the following cities: Blythe, Coachella, Cathedral City, Indio, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Mecca, and Thermal.
A complete application must meet the criteria listed below and must have the following documentation attached:

*Letter of Introduction (must specifically reference the position for which you have applied)

*Two Letters of Reference/Recommendation
*Copy of valid California Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the Special Education program and specifically to the Special Education program assigned
EXPERIENCE: Successful teaching experience with students with moderate to severe disabilities.
EDUCATION: Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited college/university; Master?s Degree desirable.
CREDENTIALS/CERTIFICATES/LICENSES:
Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the Special Education program assigned. Applicants who have not utilized their credential(s) within the last 39 months in a school district must show verification of passage of the California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST). You must provide evidence of qualifying for this credential with your application.
